After the rain there was a bit of floating leaves and rubbish in the water in Cabbage Tree Bay so the decision was made to head up the beach today.
This was a nice change and very enjoyable with a smooth surface and small swell.
This is the happy gang getting ready to swim up the beach.
Team meeting to discuss our strategy.
We had 3 happy birthday’s today, they were Leisa, Paula and Megan – you started off your special day in the best possible way!
The lovely sunny morning.
Scenery was a bit different today. The Manly high rises and lovely smooth water.
We swam to the tallest white building along the beach front.
Stunning..
Great swim and beautiful morning.
Have a great day, Jenny :))

It was a beautiful birthday swim this morning. Thank you to everyone who made it so special. Lovely blog Jenny. You’re right it was a very enjoyable change swimming north.
I found an orange bikini in the ladies change room this morning if anyone has lost it. I’ll give it to management tomorrow

Thanks Jenny. Lovely swim up North.
For the record, Brendan assured me his dog-poo-double to Shelly was just as nice.
Happy Birthday Lisa, Paula, Megan!

Brendan was telling porkies. North was definitely the pick this morning.

I swam to Shelly, ( well almost) and didn’t encounter sludge, only Duskies, Triggerfish and Wobbie. Lovely log Jenny!

Dog poo double, is there a special tick for that 🙂
PS I tried to swim up the beach, but got too much sand in my face
