We haven’t had really great conditions for a while but today was one of those special swims! The sun shone, the ocean was flat and calm, weed and stingers weren’t a bother and the water was clear! We swam over Port Jackson Sharks, Wobbegong, Gropers, Eagle Rays and a few lucky swimmers spotted a Turtle! This beautiful blue Groper came to say Hello at The Bower!
It’s great to have JK back from his European holiday drinking Munich dry of beer (at the Oktoberfest) and Liverpool! Hopefully he’ll restore order at the point and swimmers will wait for the Lets Go!
Nat is also back from her trip around the US with her 6 boys, (inc hubby Vira 😉
It was also Sam’s birthday and his special birthday treat was swimming with his two sons!
Sebastian and Alex I think, at the front
Larry was also happy to swim with daughter Nicola who swam both ways for the first time today.
The A Team were happy to swim with each other 😉 Well done Debbie on a superb photo bomb!
It was also Chris’s birthday today so Sam and Chris got splashed and sang to, as is our tradition!
This is Andrew and Juliet. Juliet said I love the swim but Andrew doesn’t. Hopefully after seeing a Turtle today Andrew will start to love our swims!
Rainer isn’t looking too happy for once. Here he is with bathing belles Lucy, Karen and Gemma.
If you know someone who needs help with IT Debbie Amos on the right runs great courses, Debbie Does IT. Georgina Hart on the left is an amazing artist and you can visit her gallery at Seaforth. Alison has many talents but has been famous for beanie knitting of late!
I went via The Bower on the way back from Shelly and came across this Groper and a lovely PJ shark

Thank you for another lovely blog Lainey. A minor correction because I obviously failed to clearly enunciate my words: Hubby Andrew doesn’t LOG his swims, but he definitely loves them – no wonder you looked a bit puzzled when I said it to you! He’s always keen to get to bnb and was thrilled at seeing the turtle! After all, after breakfast by the beach he then gets to catch the ferry in to work, while I get to drive the car back in peak hour traffic… But I love swimming here too, so it’s worth it!

Thanks for commenting Juliette. Yes I did think it a bit strange! Thanks for clarifying!
