This shot was taken at Shelly Beach, about 10 m from shore, up the Fairy Bower end. The positive thing is that as John Turnbull the photographer puts it ‘this is a sign that this small no-take reserve continues to recover.’
Please don’t let this put anyone swimming with us! These sharks are the ‘labradors of the sea’ so like our dusky whaler, port jackson and wobbegong friends are harmless when respected!
B&B’s Annual Fundraising Dinner proudly supported & sponsored by The Steyne Hotel on Tuesday 12th November from 6.30pm is now sold out! If you would like to go on the wait list for tickets, please email Ian (ugoboy@optushome.com.au) or see Ian or Lesley at swimming any day. If you have booked tickets and are unable to go, please email Ian so we can on sell your tickets to someone on the wait list.

Bold and Beautiful Swim School
Sarah Anne Evans, B&B’s official Pacific Jules swim coach, has organised a group swim school at Shelley Beach for any willing B&B swimmers who want to improve their style. The cost is $30 and it’s limited to 15 people. During the 90 minute session Sarah Anne and Warren Evans will be covering how to swim with more efficiency, flow and speed! If the water is clear and calm enough they will film each person for feedback after the session via email.
The latest date available for the B&B Swim School is 21st December.
(This will be the last swim school for the year. More next year. Schools on 30 November and 14 December are both full)
If you would like to book in you should call or email Sarah Anne and you will be sent further information, including the date, time and payment details. Phone 0420 923 067 or email info@pacificjules.com.au

I hope you’ve been hoarding all that plastic rubbish then Lesbubb, so you can present it in a REALLY BIG pile for the competition!

Thanks for making Mya so welcome, she can’t believe we are all such good people ! Special mention to Greg for bringing down extra wetsuits in case Mya’s two French girlfriends joined us. She is coming back next couple of mornings so do say Hello.
