Over 132 Bold & Beautiful swimmers
Enjoyed a spectacularly beautiful swim this morning

Yesterday’s westerly wind totally flattened the sea, shame it all pushed all the warm surface water out to sea leaving that chilly 16 degree water plenty of room to fill.

It didn’t matter though as the sun was shining and the water was lovely and clear

There are lots of first timers joining us each morning now too, there were 11 today, welcome to you all.

It doesn’t matter if it’s your first or your 1000th time you always love it and there’s still always something new and magical to see.

Apparently the turtle was around again this morning, and Gab saw an eel !

A selection of what I saw this morning included a large school of Sand Mullet at Shelly

Lots of beautiful Leatherjackets

Some non-stinging jelly blubbers

Which I saw this Luderick eating

Maybe it’s Groper mating season ?? These two groper sure looked to be having fun playing chase

Plenty of amphibious homo sapiens too. 6 swimmers even toughed out the spring chill for a double lap. Don’t be left out, come and join in the fun tomorrow morning at 7am !

Talking of fun, check out our B&B Trivia Night Countdown added to both the blog and the website thanks to Tim from Manly Mac Art It’s gonna be a great night !

What a beautiful morning. Could only improve with slightly warmer water and that looks like it will happen tomorrow. We should have the same conditions tomorrow. Fabulous.

The water is getting clearer and we are getting more sightings of the amazing marine life in Cabbage Tree Bay! Great photos Jules. The jimbles seem to have gone too. Now we just need it to warm up but according to the BOM website the warmer currents are definitely on their way!
