30/07/2012 – Eye to Eye

30/07/20123

73 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.

Appreciating more of the same, superb calm conditions this morning.

Manly is certainly displaying it’s best right now, Lake Manly to all it’s observers and Manly Aquarium to all of us subaquatic users 🙂

Everyone’s pretty excited to get in the water to see what gems it has in store for us today

Paige was very happy to learn that Rob B won his first ever trophy at a swim in Balmoral yesterday, but not half as happy as he is 🙂

This morning we were fortunate enough to come eye to eye with this impressively handsome Eastern Fiddler Ray

and this spectacular ‘little’ giant cuttlefish, albeit it slightly blurry, sorry.

Simon also saw and captured for us this beautifully marked Port Jackson Shark as well as the Fiddler Ray

It seems that the Men In Black have joined us now too…

although they were being closely watched by this school of whiting

5 swimmers also continued on for a double lap today.

Look forward to seeing all of you who have booked in tonight from 6.30pm at Bluewater for our monthly B&B special dinner 🙂

Meanwhile on tour Sharon is enjoying another first, in pink this week, skiing at Perisher !  Love the pink outfit Sharon 🙂

A cold wind but the water was nice. A lot of jimbles. A whole cloud! I have a lot of itching – is it from them or was there something else biting in the water today?
