You may not
have realised it, but yesterday was warmer than our last Christmas Day by two
degrees!! We enjoyed 24 degrees in Sydney
in the middle of winter.
The
spectacular sunrises continue. How
spoilt are we to be welcomed to the daily swim by this magnificent display of
colour and light.

Today there were
109 sunlit swimmers braving the 17.6 degrees.

Sarah is
heading off for two months, so she was making the most of the swim to say her
hello and good-bys.

Some swimmers were keeping a close eye on the time.

While others were still ticking and preparing.

And it is always nice to catch up with the early lappers. . .

Friendly,
fun waves rolled in to make the getting in part a bit more fun. Nothing too scary, but it did make me think
that it was time to review those ‘Staying Safe’ guidelines again.

Once in Shelly there was the usual chilling out.

Sarah had the thrill of doing the ‘Let’s Go’.

One of the Port Jacksons was out and
about. Much too deep for me, but Nick managed to dive down.

The low tide stirred up the sand, and the crashing waves made fish hunting around the point ‘interesting’. However, I did find the Headless Nick darting between the rocks. . .

The
next B&B monthly dinner
The B&B
fun just keeps on rolling with the monthly dinner on 6 August. Come along for this fun event which is such excellent value. At $20 for two courses, with $5 drinks, $5 desserts and no corkage
for BYO wine you won’t regret making the effort. Bluewater also offers a $25 special meal in addition to our standard $20 deal. Bookings
are essential so Click here to book
early and avoid disappointment. Don’t forget, the next batch of 500 km badges
will also be presented on the night.
Staying
safe
Remember that there are no badges for scaring yourself silly! While it is great to extend your boundaries,
it is important to know your limits. Do

Have a glorious day

Nice pics of the sunrise – it was beautiful this morning. Water was nice and warm and I liked getting through the choppy waves. B&B ball and book photos are nice too 🙂
