This sea sponge found washed up in the weed, provided a lot of entertainment at the swim this morning! Michele (bottom right) said ‘it’s great how something so simple can bring so much joy and pleasure!’
True love at yoga this morning. Cali and his owner!
Flat, calm and getting clearer down at the swim today.
Beautiful light at 7.05 as John, Pete, Ted, Donald and Jesse head out for a swim. The water is back to 21!
The weed was mainly on the sand today. Here are Ted, Pete and Jesse
Cake Stall on Saturday morning with all funds going to Can Too! Please remember to bring a little cash as Can Too is an amazing charity which funds cancer researchers at the start of their careers who otherwise wouldn’t get funding. Many of our swimmers have benefitted from this research so everything we can do helps. Kelly-Ann and I are running a half marathon in May and are setting up on Saturday from 7 – 10am. Thank you to those of you who said they’d bring cakes, slices, frittata etc. Anything we can sell is much appreciated! If you want to donate before or buy a few dollars of protein balls, slices etc and pay without cash please click on this link! https://www.cantoo.org.au/fundraisers/kelly-annepacker
Some of the crew today. I asked quite a few swimmers who swam last week after or during the rain if they had got sick and everyone I asked reported feeling healthy and well without ear infections. I’m just curious as we often wonder. Hopefully nobody will have delayed effects…
Our bay at 6.50 and 7.10am
There are still fih about and visibility is slowly returning. Blue Groper and Mados!
Well done to everyone who attended the badge ceremony and also to all the volunteers. Here are some of the badge recipients. Lots of money was also raised for The Royal Far West!
