The Festival of Julie continues this weekend with 144 party goers turning up in conditions we’ve grown to love this week!
At least the washing machine has moved on from it’s “death and destruction” cycle, to more of a “winter touch up” mode….
Everybody’s in their party outfits….
Yeh thanks for bringing the rain and crappy big surf Julie!
(Lesley dared me to say that hahah)
Izzy doing her little turn on the catwalk – sheesh – that’s sooooo two weeks ago Izzy….
Everyone’s loosening up after a big night at the Moonshine bar…..
Brian, Rob (from England) and Mel C – Rob’s wife and kids are on the way back home – (see you at Shore Club Rob?)
Brenton discovers ANOTHER use for petroleum jelly….
Stage 2.005 of the Boldification of Manly SLSC is now complete…
This guy got up and said something – who is he? Anyway he said not to quote him… no probs there….
This is where the fun started….
Bruce has been waiting all week to have a quiet cry about Gillard – good strategy to cry in the surf where no-one can tell..
He’s a very sensitive man…
Another day at the office…
I think we found Red October…..
Ian takes a break … it gets so hot in that tank…
We swam in the rain… always great!
Julie reveals the “augmentation” is a success
Naomi shows us all how to wear a go-pro…
…and guess who does the “let’s go!?”
Don’t tell anyone it’s cloudy and raining – especially the clowns…
There are enough images of sad clowns in this world…
Here’s some of our happy ones….
We decided to try a little bodysurfing on the way in – Chris mate… the beach is that way…
Storchy reveals he is a clown of many talents…
This Week’s Caption Competition….

…and congratulations on your 500k badge, Storchy! The wave of the day captured by Nick and a new badge – no better way to head off on holiday!
Hope you have some good surf, diving in off the rocks in that lovely National Park.
Jacko, when you come back, the flipperless race is on, so you’d better get in training:-)) (And no jumping out at Half Way during the race either!!)

Lovely to have you back Jules. Now let me address the elephant in the room:
Saturday attendance has averaged around 200 since beginning of June. That’s a 27% drop for today.
There was talk of a leadership spill at shelly this morning. I’ve gotta zip..

Great swim today all. So I forgot to sign in today and once earlier this week & I have some intense rivalry going on with my housemate… I am wondering whether you can add me to the list with a big fat w for no wetsuit!!! Thanks, Emma

So where, actually, are you, Magic Hands? Your absence was noted……..

Yes, a big congratulations to the Storchmaster. 500 k is a huge effort.
500km without a wetsuit. 500 km in pink budgies even bigger effort.
Well done!!

and DWSS I must thank yourself for all those ticks when I was surfing, jogging, drinking coffee in MWB or just still in bed. If not for you and Rob Bin I’d still be a long way off the magic 500.
And Nurse J thanks for the motivation of letting me b on top and for regularily showing me how to swim to the point and return direct to the beach without being seen doing so!
And Lips and LSA for being such staunch adversaries.
Jane and Izzy for all those hugs!
