29/03/15 – What a sterling ….

29/03/20155

… start to the day!

Whilst the frisky clock on the surf club had some of you thrown, there was no doubt in these ladies minds what day it was … Snorkel Sunday! Yay!

A more significant Sunday than most because it also marked the anniversary of Sterling’s entrance to the world. Little did we know how significant his own contribution to the population would be! …

Sterling by name sterling by nature. This guy had 4 cakes baked for him! He’s either a seriously nice guy or he’s sleeping with management.
Something tells me that JK is not his type …Evidently:
Sterls with his girls…A whole other kind of triple crown!
Whilst you all made a valiant attempt to make it on to the blog …

It was a turtle that stole today’s show. My underwater photography skills are on par with Elaine’s matchmaking … Fortunately for the B&B, all evidence points to her being the the love-child of Arial and David Attenborough … Check out her video and keep you’re eye out for our flippered friend (past the point, about 40 meters offshore between two large poles) before Nick and Sharnie eat him like they did the last one;)

Great blog as always Jonesy, thanks. Happy birthday to stirling Sterling and thanks for the turtle vid Lainey Loo I don’t know how you held your breath that long. We are so lucky to have so many great photographers in our group who do such a great job of capturing superb creatures, images and sights for us again and again and again. Thank you all

Great video Lainey, it was such a thrill to see it today just past the point – we were a bit late back, maybe it likes it after rush hour

Saw 3 dusky whalers (one of them right at Shelley beach) and 1 wobbegong this morning. Beautiful clear swim. still haven’t seen a turtle. Hopefully tomorrow!
