What a morning!
So beautiful. Bit chilly though. Air Temp down to 6 degrees and water temp 15.9 degrees but TOTALLY worth it.
There was even a swim with a dolphin for a lucky few. Also lots of clear water and fish. I saw the blue groper and some sting rays and there were port jackson shark sightings over near Shelley.
Happy Birthday to the lovely Judy Cameron today. She is the Cantoo coaching lady and many of you will know that she runs the running clubs (swim) lessons at Shelley Beach on Sunday mornings. We all sang a very quick (chilly version) of happy birthday to Judy and she got the pleasure of doing the “lets go”.
Thats Judy (with the Birthday Specs) and her mates Deanna, Maree and Lainy Loo.
Seemed to be a thin on the ground with swimmers today, maybe the cool temp?
Monthly Dinner β Guest Speaker!
The next B&B monthly dinner will be on Tuesday 11thΒ August at 6.30 pm at Bluewater Restaurant.Β On the night we will have a special presentation by our very ownΒ Caroline Kelly,Β Executive Director and Co-founder of theΒ Avner Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, whichΒ was formed on the Northern Beaches in October 2008 and is a national charity dedicated to making a difference to those facing Pancreatic Cancer. Caroline will talk about how her personal experience, including how her husbandβs diagnosis with pancreatic cancer and his passing thirteen months later, led to their plan to make a difference to future patients to offer hope of better outcomes.
After the swim another look back at that view that we all love.
Have a happy day. Jenny π

Thank you Jenny, great blog. I was so disappointed that I missed seeing the dolphin this morning. Perhaps it will come back tomorrow. Great to see Judy down for a swim on her birthday. πππ
