Twelve new people joined us today, for a fun swim. The ocean was gorgeously flat and the weather and water temperature perfect!
A beautiful swim for all 234 of us.
Angie is wearing her pink proudly!
Just a gentle reminder for Sundays
So we did.
Lesley in her new cossie.
Helen’s mum is here to visit her, they’ve been enjoying an Aussie road trip. Welcome!
Signing in, in the pink.
We all enjoy being in the blog, don’t we?
How’s the booty camp going Shaun?
This guy has his ‘shark suit’ on …..wonder if we’ll see any today? Is that for protection?
Arriving….
Here we are at Shelly.
And here’s a view from the ‘far end’
….asked if I was the ‘official photographer’
‘Could I take a photo?’
Whatever end, the views are great!
And this little fella was with his mates in the rocks.
On the way back, was so lucky to be called over to not one, but two rays!
Now, we need Jane in on this, the smaller ray seemed to be nibbling and ‘annoying’ the larger rays errrr, well, under its tail?!? What was it doing?
Maybe they are just practising their best formation swimming on the ground before taking flight?
Spot the fish in the shallows competition?

Lovely, happy blog again Snorkles. What a scoop getting shots of 2 of those smiley rays together. Little Sarah and I saw one of them at The Point. What sort of ray are they? Massouf ray? Eagle ray? Great you included the East side of Shelly as they are right, often us bloggers do focus more on the other side where all the blog tarts are!
Happy Sunday folks and come again Newbies!

I think they are southern eagle rays Elaine. But happy to be corrected.

Love those ray shots. Like dogs siffing each others bottoms. I’m sure Jane will confirm that’s what it is. Bottom sniffing.
Cry me a river Shelly East Side! West Side tarts are putting on a show every morning, so they earn their coverage. Up your game East Side!

They certainly look like Eagle Rays to me, but I’ll check at the OzMus to see if the experts know what they are up to. I only saw one at the point – it was the one with half its tail bitten off which we usually see at Shelly.
Come back soon Lips – honestly, no mention of the War for at least a week………..

With regard to the little fish fortune teller thing, if you watch closely enough the manufacturer regrets not charging you more ……
