27/02/17 – Independently, always…

27/02/201710

Ask people what they’d need in life to be happy and the general response is more money.  Apparently being independently wealthy seems to be the path to happiness.

But how long should we postpone happiness in the pursuit of gaining wealthiness?

Wealth can be infinite, and it’s relative. Happiness is infinite, but can be irrespective.
The time you have here is finite. It’s also uncertain and, relatively speaking, a mere instant in eternity.

Anyhow, let’s say you do manage to accumulate wealth beyond your precognitive, post-rational happiness threshold. What about the postcode, the perfect partner, the career, the weather, the car, the diet, the shoes (oh my goodness those shoes!), the holiday, the facebook likes…
If we do it that way life becomes an endless climb of, ‘I’ll be happy when  ____”.

Or, you could simply shift your focus towards being independently happy.
You can even make it a habit, and you can start right now.
Right here…

While it is great to extend your boundaries, it is important to know your limits.  Also, if you have a bit more experience, keep an eye out for new swimmers who might need company. Ego says “Once everything falls into place,I’ll be happy.” Spirit says, “Find your peace, and then everything will fall into place.”

    Thanks.
… The Olympus camera is pretty darn good for point and click, and nature is a flattering subject to photograph. If the photo is too under or over exposed I play with the light settings. Other than that just show up and capture what the morning provides.
