It was a beautiful swim despite the bucketing rain. But it was terrible to see all the beer cans at Shelley! It is meant to Beer Can Beach!

Swim was lovely. Pictures worthy representation of the morning. Beer cans and dumped floats very disappointing. Poor form Floatopia (Facebook Australia day party organisers)

Looks like a result of Australia Day celebrations. Should be something we escalate through the daily and Melissa is also chasing the head of the Cabbage tree bay protection group to let them run with it.

Happy 50th birthday to Krystina too! Belated birthday cake tomorrow. Stephen Coulter has posted quite a bit on Facebook about the rubbish left from Floatopia so hopefully something will be done. Great photo account of our swim Brian. It was really fun swimming in the rain (and Krys and I did some singing too!)
