Over 109 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
Another swim in paradise this morning with stunning conditions and lots of swimmers. If you’re procrastinating about swimming at the moment, my advice is don’t, you certainly won’t regret any swims right now, it’s perfect !
23 swimmers continued on for a longer swim. David Inglis got out at Queenscliff due to time constraints, the remaining 22 swimmers continued on successfully completing a beautiful 6km swim up to Freshie and back. Most of the swim is captured in today’s photo 🙂

We were then greeted by Maureen Rath’s beautiful smile at the end which was a very pleasant surprise. Thanks for recording all the names for us Maureen 🙂
13 of these swimmers completed the 6km for the first time – wonderful effort guys, congratulations to everyone ! You certainly exceeded my expectations for which I’m very happy 🙂
The other amazing thing about this 6km swim this morning was that some of the swimmers didn’t intend to participate in it, it was just so lovely they couldn’t refuse, such as Ricky Facer and Robin Turner. Also it was 2 of the participants first ever swim with B&B this morning so they certainly didn’t know they were about to embark on a 6km summer badge swim this morning, welcome to Sue Coombes and John Freiman 🙂

Good luck to all the Rotto Swimmers today, by all accounts the conditions seem to be beautiful, 38 degrees, with flat seas and a gentle south easterly breeze, delightful – enjoy guys !! We can’t wait to read all your comments and learn of all your great achievements on the blog later today.
