After the massive hail storm last night we were down in numbers, only about 40 of us!
It was pure Joy for those of us that made it down to Manly. (as usual)
The water was pretty good, not many floaters and temp was 17.7 in the water and 10 degrees outside.
I found this lovely set of lipsticked lips over at Shelly Beach puckering up! How cool, just like a 1950’s beauty…
The lovely sets of waves rolling in neatly against the sunrise, slight offshore breeze.
Don’t forget badge ceremony on the 13th Sept, to celebrate the winter swims.
This little cutey is a regular at B & B with her day, giving out cuddles to everyone that talks to her.

Not a lot of fish life today, but we managed a pic of Mr Flathead, sleeping at the point.
Don’t these ladies look spiffy! Guess who only came for breakfast? No swim, looking a million dollars.
Well its the festival of Deanna, and she called the shots today for Maria and Jenny A on her birthday. Early morning txt messages….No swim its too yucky, lets just go and enjoy a lovely break with the swimmers. Maria made the most delicious banana bread ever, to celebrate with candles and sparklers!
Also missing today is our alternate Tues blogger Brian and his lovely wife Melissa, they celebrate 25yrs of marriage today. Wonder where they were??

Plenty of wildlife again. Spotted a rare capless Rusty on the way to Shelly, and swam with a topless Shelly on the way back.

Starlit Pink upon my lips
Puts a light in my eye
And a swing in my hips –
I’d never leave home (or go swimming) without it!
Washing her face , cleaning teeth and putting on lipstick was my mother’s first-thing-in-themorning routine. It’s a case of like mother like daughter… It starts the day off right and you never know who you’ll bump into…! Any other lipstick ladies?

Lovely blog Jenny. Is that Jenny H with the puckered lips? She looks so young! Happy Birthday Dee but swimming after rain is great and I’m sure the benefits outweigh any risks! Did anyone see any ‘Bondi Cigars’ btw?
