MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
Firstly I must apologise for the lateness and standard of this blog, I got carried away with the lovely swim, lovely breakfast and then home for even lovelier Bucks Fizz! (also sorry for the lack of Chrismassy decoration but I’m not that technologically advanced, especially today!)
Lets just get straight into it so that you can see the blog and then get back to opening pressies and eating copious amounts of food (apparently a bit of body fat improves your swimming so get eating everyone!)
Everyone was feeling very festive, even the B&B dogs and babies!

Look at all those smiles, what better way to start Christmas Day than swimming with the friendliest, happiest swimmers in Oz, maybe even the world…

There were a few waves- even at Halfway Beach

The festivities carried on into the water, with a few santa hats surviving all the way to Shelly!

A very special Merry Christmas to ‘Our Leader’! Thank you so much for all the hard work you’ve done, we’ll miss you but I’ve got a feeling you’ll be back fairly regularly!

There were requests for a special B&B Christmas song and I’m sure all the people on Shelly beach appreciated our rendition of ‘Jimble Bells’!
Unfortunately, the jimbles heard us singing about them and took it as in invitation to join us, although even a few jimble ‘kisses’ couldn’t dampen anyone’s spirits!

Although the weather was more reminiscent of Christmas in the UK, there was still a good turnout for the Christmas BBQ and more silly Christmas hats sported!

Hope you all have a great Christmas Day and look forward to seeing you in the water soon!
Lots of festive love, Pippa! xxx

Well done Pippa! You certainly captured the atmosphere of the lovely, wild swim and most enjoyable brekkie at Shelly (just in time before the rain started pouring) – such a great start to the day! A Bold & Beautiful Christmas to all!

Happy Christmas all xx
There’s no better way to start any day but especially Christmas Day than with our happy, friendly bunch. A fab morning and a wonderful brekkie that not even the rain could dampen.
Lovely blog, thanks heaps Pippa

Merry Xmass swimmers.
A first time swimmer said to me today,”I’m never going to forget this”
Another great experience to one more swimmer.
Another curious note, – who ticked Lips today, LSSA????
Cheap chrissy present ??? Hahaha

Got your reply thanks Ragnill. Still sounds pretty heroic to me. Water at 1c would be hard to get into, don’t know that I could do it. Anyhow have a great Xmas, lovely to hear from you.

Ha ha! Didn’t you see Lips today? Just because he “lay low”…….
And I’ve said I’m off to Hong Kong on Sat for a month, but I might still jet in to make a few “lay low” swims:-))

Thanks LSA, how nice of you!
You really shouldn’t have! Box of chocolates would have been sufficient.. 🙂
Will return the favor while you’re in HK. Bolderdashes all the way!
