Ahh, the first day back at work after a 4 day long weekend is never easy.. it was definitely made easier this morning with a little pick me up by swimming at 7 with Bnb!
The water is still warm, the air not too cold this am leaving no excuse to get out of bed! A few waves to get through on the way to Shelly, but once through we were rewarded with a few dusky sightings.
Lauras smile after her first swim with a Dusky!
Tom, our Dusky spotter every Tuesday!
Spotted some lovely swimming techniques on the wave back from Shelly!
As winter gets closer, the Tuesday Babewatch crew gets slightly smaller! Also featuring Greg who fits in very well!
Also a big Happy Birthday to Jo! What a celebration for turning 60!! The perfect start to the day! Enjoy another year of being a regular Bnb swimmer!!
Thats all for today folks, see you next week!
Ali xx

IMPORTANT NOTICE – ANZAC DAY
As usual, Anzac Day, on Thursday, will be a major event on the B&B calendar. We will be meeting at the surf club as normal but, please try to arrive early, allow time for parking, and wait on the beach if possible to avoid congestion on the walkway. At 7 amwe will gather on the beach for a short service before we enter the water. For safety reasons, we request that when you reach Shelly Beach you wait for the “Let’s go” before returning to Manly.
Due to the large number of swimmers expected on the day, we urge you to take particular care in the water. Remember, we are not racing; we are here to enjoy our swim. Please be mindful of our swimming etiquette and avoid swimming on top of other swimmers. If you do collide with someone else, please stop and make sure that they are not injured. Let’s make this a great day for all involved.
The Monthly Dinner – 14th May 2019 – Guest Speaker
The Next B&B monthly dinner for the year will be held on Tuesday 14th May at 6.30 pm at Bluewater Restaurant. Our guest on the night will be B&B Swimmer, Peter Anthony, who has a Masters in Communication and has written a book on conversations. The title of his talk is You talkin’ to me? and is a talk about talking. Great conversations build better relationships, better businesses and stronger families. And can make you better parents, better partners, even better lovers. Own your hook, claim the wall, master the benches. Learn how to tell your story in your own best words, and why your way is the best way.
