Lightning quid on a lightning blog from a guest blogger.

Three quiz questions with the winner receiving a sweet prize for being so smart. First on the comments with the correct answers wins and no correspondence will be entered into.

1. Who is that in the distance keeping a pair of beady eyes on Lee ?

2. Where do these Ladies shop for today’s outfit ?

3. Whose birthday was it today ? (She didn’t have the 130 swimmers and 1 newbie who swam in 17.1 degree water sing to her today, but she did have 50 swimmers in Manly Wine sing to her)

Second to last photo is to remind you all to get on the iLog (as impressive as the numbers are, there are still some recalcitrants).

Final photo is the manual blog supplying the bottom of the blog messages.

Swim well……JK Snr

I think you are spot on Ros y. Rosie the dog, must be Aldi jackets and Jones’s birthday. I couldn’t come, had to take son to tennis and then it was rained off 🙁 Happy Birthday Jonesy. Thanks for a fun blog JK

I was so glad it rained today! Silver linings today: it rained my daughter’s netball out so I could undertake my sim-like activity ( today practising patient front arm but don’t know if I managed it) among actual ocean swimmers; a shark came out from the rocks so I could see it against sand; with the launch of the new Dr Who we have the Tardis to swim by; and I literally ran into an actual ocean swimmer, DrJohn one of the Bear Cottage swimmers! After the recent blogs on channel swims, what more can there be to prompt a person to swim?!

I didn’t realise that you could buy 500km badges for $10! Are there dodgy dealings going on, or do you actually have had to have swum the distance?
Great swim on a not very promising day, but that’s always the way, isn’t it?

hhhhmmmmm….. I was with Jonesy & co last night ( I think…) (started way too early at the wines ). If I remember correctly she was wearing exactly the same little dress ( sans Uggies ). So methinks she may have been just a tad naughty last night when every good B & Ber had been sensible & gone home to prepare for this mornings swim. Easy to see cos in the photo she’s asleep !
Pray tell miss Jones…. an all nighter ? You know that swimming takes precedence over partying so lets not have this frivolous behaviour when you turn 23 next year !!

Just in case some of you B & B folks stray up the Blue Mountains tomorrow, you are invited to stop by the Blackheath Community Centre to watch the Blackheath Choir Festival. It will be the musical centre of the cultural universe tomorrow. We will rock your socks off. BTW you’re all looking uber-gorgeous as always!

What a difference – the awfulness of struggling out of a toasty warm bed and the joy of a 17.1 degree ocean swim… And in the rain!
