22/06/13 The Longer The Better

Yes the day’s are now getting longer! Just like the time it’s taking to write the blog ;-P

So read part 1 now, all about the B & B Ball and while you’re doing that I’ll finish the blog. Check back after 11:00 and the full blog will be here!

The BnB Ball, yes you can book from today – the booking site should be up by midday at https://bnbball.arrangemyseat.com/ . It’s $85 a ticket including 3 course meal, soft drinks, bubbly, wine and beer plus music, fun and entertainment.

You can book in 3 easy steps:

1. Select the number of tickets you want and type in the names
2. When you click buy tickets you’ll be taken to PayPal where you either use your existing PayPal account or simply use your credit card – all major cards accepted
3. You’ll be taken back to the Ball site where you can give any special dietary instructions and select the table you’s like to be on.

About the Tables

1. Pick a table name and tell your friends which table to book. If you’d like to change your table name, email me the new name, stephen@iswimtoo.com
2. Get you friends to book and in step 3 above choose your table name
3. Please limit your invites to BnB friends and their partners. We’d like as many BnB there as possible.

Storchy is already trying out his touch of pink after the Solstice touches of Pink were not appreciated. Maybe he’ll bring two dates?

Today’s Swim!

How much better is life when its longer! Renae’s all smiles saying it’s this long. Yes, we’ve passed the Solstice and did yo unotice how much lighter it was already this morning.

Jenny’s not sure an dlooking confused. “It’s bloody cold even in a wetsuit, 17.7C – our first day under 18 this year”. HTFU I here Michael yelling from Fremantle!

We like it longer too, yesterday it was just too short.

Some were less exhuberant.

Even the swim was longer today – influenced by unusual barometric pressure coinciding with high tide at 6:54am meant the swim was 1,502m today.

Ye, this much longer said Chris (I think that’s waht he was referring to?)

Attracta was hanging on the beach for a bit longer than usual too.

Sharon’s been praying for it to get longer- “shhh, don’t tell anyone my snorkels longer and I can dive deeper for longer.”

Poor Isobel would like it much longer. “The day’s are still far too short – at least the night’s are longer”

If we use our legs we can show how long we’d really like it. (That photo bomb was far too easy Rainer and doesn’t count)

LSA, aka Hong Kong Triad Queen Sarah and henchy are back – was she wanting it longer still or are sim0ly seeing the hands out for investments in ticks again. (btw LSA asked me to update prices for Winter – ticks $5, “W” $10 rising each week by $5 and will be $50 by 29 July – so buy W’s early – and yes you can prepay and save).

Leswee was pleading for some warmer waters at Shelly and had some volunteers to warm up her patch. Attracta managed to photo bomb the shot after some proud coaching from Rainer.

The swim back to Manly was decidely longer..

But some did not appreciate the extra length…

As expected the Sun shone through to aannounce its longer presence on another idyllic Saturday swim
