22 degrees!

December 16, 20211

It was a beautiful swim today – the water was warm, visibility was better and no sea lice / bitey things in the water.

Clouds to the West

Sun to the East

I didn’t see many fish today, but the jelly blobbers are still around.

Last Saturday Anne Edwards led 11 of us on a challenging 6K with rough seas at Freshie and some tricky currents around the Queensie headland, it was a great swim, the swell was picking up though!  Toni and I went a bit far out and found ourselves on the wrong side of the shark net, other than that it was a uneventful, but lovely swim. I highly recommend the 6km!

Have a great weekend!

The jellies are a bit yucky but don’t bite. That 6 km was a huge effort last week in big seas!
