Quick blog as I had a last minute call to work. What a sight for early swimmers this morning…a beautiful double rainbow. It was very nippy outside this morning but the sky was beautiful and the ocean calm and flat before the clouds rolled in. I asked 6.30am swimmers if they’d seen anything interesting under the water and they told me to look up at the rainbow! Sometimes we can be a bit too focused on some things and forget to see the bigger picture!
This was Manly Beach before 7 this morning…
Long time swimmer Nicola reunited with her son Justin who has been travelling for 2 years.
Emily and Anita. I met Anita at a Warringah Club Tri and encouraged her to come to the swim. She loves it and the people
Roger and Sue ready to pack in a few kilometres before work. See you in half hour Sue!
Lovely to see Justus back down at the swim. He’s been laying low covid style
Nothing like a bit of post-swim banter and jokes. John’s ‘friends’ are laughing at him for putting his trackie dacks on back to front!
I have to go but we can get special winter covid badges and swim at different times of the day! You should have all got an email.
Have a great day folks!

Yes, it was a magnificent very clear and perfect arch rainbow welcoming us back through the middle just as the sun came up behind us! Lovely swimming conditions.
Thx Lainey!
