8/9/15 What are your Summer Goals?

September 8, 201513

Warm water and summer days….how will you make the most of it?

To inspire everyone I asked a few B&B regulars what their summer goals were…

Sean is going to do all of the 6km and 10km swims this summer and he is going to try not to sleep in and miss any (like he did last summer)

Jenny A is going to get faster and do a “double”

Jenny K (me) is going to do a 6km swim and live life to the full

Maree (wonderful banana cake maker!) is going to do stroke correction and do a “double”

Ian F is not going to get sun burnt this summer

Ian Mc is going to be alive and so is Ed

Deanna is going to do her first 10km swim

Peter R is going to do a “double”

Hope this inspires you to set a big summer goal for yourself! Please share yours too :))

Our swim today was a little chilly, water temp was back down to 16.8 degrees and air temp was 8 degrees. We had 90 swimmers and 1 newbie.

Hope to see you all at the dinner tonight.

Jen 🙂

Thanks to Lainey loo for some great fish pics today.

    16 again?.. that’s unreasonable. I’m shooting for a 10km

Agree. I was disappointed too. 16 degrees is just not good enough for September.
    Great theme Jenny!

I’m shooting for at least one 6km. And to keep on finding glorious marine life and the human kind too.

Love your idea Jenny! I’m going to do a 6 and 10km for sure and just keep on enjoying each day when I start it with a run and swim!
That PJ loved Kerry. He went in for a kiss!
