LOOK AT IT!!!
It’s totally amazing at the moment out there (unless you’re a surfer then it’s disgusting)
Warm, Calm, CLEAR…and about 104 BnB swimmers experienced it
I swear this is not an optical illusion! 😀
Everyone looks so happy to be here! 😉
Well Midge certainly does having just come back from an early lap!
What’s behind that flipper?
WHOA!
Nicolee and friends!
Nicolee spotted a someone FISHING at Shelly!!! She swam over to let them know you cannot fish there – not sure how she went? Nicolee??
It’s not that cold!
WOW! No Stephen C trickery here – this is the real thing – I think though in real life it was even better!
John Kelly has something to say….
Heading over to Shelly…magestic!
Ridges at Shelly..I am sure they are new??
Celeb let’s goer – Mari! She’s a great yoga teacher too!
Here’s Neil…and oh what?? I thought I managed to avoid Blog Tarts but 2 still got in there somehow?!?!
Very excited these 2 swam past me at the point – King Fish – I reckon the other fish are more scared of these 2 than sharks!!
Clear as a whistle!
Last 2 pics – I collected so much rubbish, I ran out of room in my cozzie…..ahem …

Hi Lesley
Lovely blog, again!
Don’t take those mean, nasty comments from N&S to heart.
We think your very, very pretty – and sophisticated!

Great photos Lesley, and a great read as always. Does anyone know any swimmers based in Marseille? I have a friend getting ready for the Monte Cristo 5km Challenge that has time to swim in Marseille on weekends, and would be happy to meet with some other swimmers for some open water practice. Unfortunately, I cannot go myself, I have commitments at B and B Manly that I need to stay here in Sydney for. Can you ask Lestrunkweebutt to send me a private message if you know anyone, thanks.

Inez, I’ll check through my swimming networks. Also get them to join http://www.iswimtoo and set up a Marseille Pod and enter the swim(s). That can help attract others. Cheers, Stephen

A super ghost-train swim this morning at 6.23…. very, very dark, but so glassy and beautiful, gliding along, then….. wham and again!
Really, I’d completely forgotten about it until you mentioned it!
See you tomorrow for a regular 6.59 splinter group take-off at 6.55:-)

Hey Lesley
The fisherman! he said I was the 5th person to tell him not to fish. Apparently a few fishing areas around Sydney have been cleared for fishing, but NOT Cabbage Tree Bay! He was adamant it had been cleared for fishing, I told him that we would agree to disagree and bid him a Good Day, and when I saw the Ranger when we left the Beach I told him to go get him 🙂

I was simply referring to the French translation, i.e. “Le Arse” or “L’Arse”.

For the record I went diving yesterday after a long break and noticed that wow the fish are still there, well perhaps not the ones the fisherman caught…
I uploaded a video for those interested:

there is some catfish and our friend the cuttlefish changing from brownish to bright orange. Worth checking out. See you tomorrow!
