20/02/2013 – Where would you rather be!?

20/02/201310

ย Warm and calm waters – doesn’t get much better than this!!

ANOTHER GREAT SWIM!!!

The Gulls are in heaven too because… don’t read on if you are eating…. there were 1000’s of maggots in the seaweed for them to eat…euuuwww!

It’s a perfect Sea Gull resort… a fresh water pool, all you can eat….

Looking good in matching BnB outfits!

The “zombie’ dance!

The water was so warm and relaxing , here’s John doing a bit of backstroke

Waiting at Shelly…

Annie and I saw 2 little duskys just near Shelly – Annie was excited because it was her first sighting of a dusky…. They swam really close to us too!

Annie blarting under water – that is, blog-tarting! ๐Ÿ™‚

100000’s of yellow tails to be seen

This week marks my 2 year anniversary swimming with B&B! ย I was even mentioned in the blog afterwards! ๐Ÿ™‚ ……and I nailed it too for a TOP first swim – look what swam with usย click hereย to see!

I also remember John Kelly, Ian Forster, Brian Black, Heidi Jamesย starting around the same time…. anyone else??ย

With the Summer badge ceremony coming up in the next fews weeks (probably early March) – You’ll all need a Bold and Beautiful Hoody (modelled below by Annie) to sew your badges on to!! ย ย I mean seriously where else are you going to put them?? ย They are also a must have in winter (you’ll live in it)!

At some point we will bring down sizing samples for you to try or you can just order them here:ย CLICK HEREย

    Great Blog Lesbutt.
Interesting read from 2 yrs ago and congratulations for the 2 yrs.
back two years ago there was one photo in the blog and whole 49 swimmers. hehe
I note it was a dolphin day – and a good one too. I dont suppose anyone bothered to have a chat to them? oportunity lost. haha
Just for the record, the Triad queen DID do the full bolder this morning, LSSA was accompanied by an integrity police officer on each side. (to make sure she did the distance.)
On being queried about the exit point, the excuse quickly came that the appropriate place to come in was between the flags, so we used our discretion and let her off. In future, it is appropriate to swim back to the point and in through the rip to keep the integrity of the distance. haha
Serious note – perfect swim conditions this morning. Glassy water, bath like temperature, intelligent company. (Evil genius company)
    with a great sunrise.

Ha, ha…. was just following Storchy who had just come in betweent the flags and I noticed you followed me in at just the same point:-) Hope I wasn’t going too fast for you!!
Almost the end of the official Bolderdash season and I’ve made peace with the very dodgy “Integrity Police” and teamed up, sandwiched between them, for these last swims – thanks Storchy for so kindly committing to swimming by my side and to Shauny Boy and Bob for joining the party too:-) Yes, perfect swim…

Lesbutt, I think Jon and I must have had our first B&B swim about 3 yrs ago – then no blog that I recall, no PC, and a struggle for me to get to the point and then a couple of months to recover before another attempt:)
I do recall how you joined and started swimming every day from ‘go’! Sparkles was another one who did the same.
    Great “waiting at Shelly” shot!!

Hi Pretty Lesley (I think thats much nicer then Lesbutt-too many connotations)
Did you start swimming the 19th or 20th?
Check the date of this blog.
Great blog Pretty Leslie, you are undisputed witty blog queen for Wednesday, although the ‘White Pointers’ comment is a bit risquรฉ for me!
As grandpa always said ‘you don’t have to lower yourself to smutty humour to be funny’!!

Sorry I missed the Police Escort today, Sterch, Shauny and Little Sarah,
I did follow closely behind but the allure of Shelly was just too strong and I turned right instead of left.
Which was nice, because I found Paige and Max and made a new friend!
    TOMORROW!

This week it’s one year for me as well! It’s flown by so quickly…
Here’s a treat for all of you that didn’t make the blog yesterday… It’s Shaun actually calling the dolphins. He must’ve been slightly off yesterday because what he attracted was no dolphin, but was all over him in a flash!
