At least 110 Pink Capped swimmers swam today on a warm Summer morning in 20.3 degree water. Hardly anyone went from Halfway as the ocean seemed quite calm but most of us encountered a big set of waves as we headed to The Point. You had to dive deep under those waves and not panic. We love our challenges at the B&B!
The day started a bit overcast with patches of blue but awesome as always at Manly Beach…

Dreamboat Dave has his birthday today and we wish him Happy Birthday at Booty Camp.

Midge and Nanette come in from their 6am swim, all smiles as usual…

I get around to Shelly to catch The Drinks Express. There’s about 48 of them today. Some of them like Derek the Fireman (single), fit this swim in with part of a ‘Triple’ starting at 6am!Hello yummy mummy Sarah Eade!
Drinks gets them to turn around for a wave. What a great group!

Back at the Surf Club Dave is getting a few birthday hugs. Here he is with Megan and Eva. Eva will now become known as the most amazing chocolate cheesecake maker of all time!

Libby, Sarah and Sue looking cheery!
Justus and his son Charl. Suzie, his daughter swims with us too but is at work early today.

Tayls and his daughter Helen 😉 Tayls can also be seen on page 14 of The Manly Daily today on the Santa pub crawl. Unfortunately the Santa apron I dressed him in wasn’t a big hit with the ladies ;-(
Our gorgeous Ian in between some ladies looking very youthful!
We sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Dreamboat and he gets the biggest soaking ever!
The ‘A Team’ getting ready for their race back (with a couple of tryhard A teamers Tayls and Lips!)
Now the ‘A Teamers’ try to get ahead but as this photo clearly shows Lesley in the blue rashy is in the lead!
Sarah and Turbo watch the swim back from Fairy Bower…
Fifi is back so quickly!
Just infront of Tim 😉
Lovely Ed is off to Queensland for 3 weeks. (Single ladies see me!)

a smile from Anna can brighten anyone’s day!
Look at that cheese cake!

It was really amazing. Jane and I ate the most!

Sky suggested we should ‘mummify’ Dave as he is SO old so I ran off to the bathroom to get the toilet paper!

And for the dog lovers out there a lovely shot of Sky and Leia, the dog she rescued when some gypsies in the UK abandoned her.

Have a great week folks! Happy Christmas as Shelly is back next Wednesday! I had to rush to get the blog out by 1am as I was called to get rid of a spiderling infestation so I have just gone back in and added more!
