151 Bold and Beautiful swimmers enjoyed a beautiful swim once again. 3849 swimmers missed out as conditions were magnificent! It was a bitter-sweet swim, as tomorrow Jules and Michael leave us to head off to Perth.
Look at what we had to swim across today! It’s a hard life!

They are going to miss this and we are going to miss them… Manly was just absolutely gorgeous this morning and the earlier you get here the better.

The Bolderdashers were lucky. They were even serenaded by a man with a big horn, playing to them at the beach end of The Corso. (Part of the Sydney Festival, he played his Alphorn at 6am.)

This gentleman may also have a big horn but he was found assessing the conditions for a ‘Double’. His verdict, ‘Excellent!’

Simon, our Stand In Attendance Guy was caught with his pants down 😉
And there’s ‘Lips’ ticking off Little Sarah, the Triad Queen organising The Pacific Challenge scamming from Hong Kong.

Another rescue! These ladies and their double quad cramps. It’s getting catching!

I think I heard Alex saying she just wanted a grope!

And now for the swim! The Spice Girls are ready to go!

The water was flat, calm, warm and perfect! Here is lovely Mauricio who has posted the amazing videos of our marine life lately from his GoPro. Looking very cool there M. I think there may be some ladeez with double quad cramps around when you finish your swims in future!

I got some goodish photos of fishies today!

There were groupers, luderick, yellowtail, morwong and wrasse today!

Most of these were taken around the rocks towards Fairy Bower/Halfway Beach.

And a beautiful Humanexpectingalysonicus fish…

Waiting at Shelly…

The Spice Girls do a dance underwater!

And we are almost ready for the swim back.

Alex executing another rescue 😉

The swim is almost over and the smiles are shining bright. This is Krystina’s friend Barb, trying it for the first time. And going all the way!

And hugs abound for Jules and Michael. (But MC is ‘doing a double!)

This one, taken by Stephen, is for the Best Butt Competition!Wow!!

Oh and who is this Blog Tart going to extraordinary lengths to get on the blog! Here she is being shot out of a cannon at Edinburgh castle!

Another spectacular swim in paradise. remember tomorrow is not only Jules and Michael’s last day before they head off to Perth but it is also Jules’s birthday!! We are going to sing the sky off at Shelly! Thank you so much Jules and Michael. How does it feel to be responsible for improving the quality of life for so many? You are both amazing and we wish you all the best!
Stephen sent me this info on the beautiful jellyfish spotted yesterday.http://australianmuseum.net.au/Lions-Mane-Jellyfish
Just a few hurried cartoons this week keeping you up to date with the behind the scenes B&B!

Signing off…Lainey-Loo aka E-laine xxx
(Can’t believe it! I’ve finished the Blog by 10.30am!)
7 Bolderdash. 4 swimmers enjoyed an early lap into Shelly. 8 swimmers continued on for a double.
NO stingers, sharks or chop. It was perfect.
Happy birthday to Jules tomorrow!

And one of the best BNB Blog Tarts on tour shots with Snorkels!
I love all your fishy shots too – THIS is how they look when they are NOT ‘photoshopped’!!
I LOVE THE CARTOONS! I couldn’t stop laughing!!! OH GOD it’s true not one of us can whistle?! OH no do we need to recruit a whistler now??

Great blog LL
I do look forward to your cartoons on Thursday
I missed out on all the rescues today, Im feeling some double cramps coming on myself.
Short note – please do not associate DWSS with that Lips character, Im still missing the 1.5k from yesterday thanks to data input corruption. grrrrrr
Snorks, do you think you could change the direction of that cannon and point it towards HK?????
2.5kms is not enough in front of that swimming machine upon her return. hahaha
The bookies are opening bets on the first tears tomorrow. 7.20am is the hot favourite.
The word from my dolphin mates are that all the marine life in the bay will be crying too.
Check out the green groper, if you have a close look, he has already teared up.

Nice work Elaine. Captured all the important moments. And produced in record time. Love cartoons as always!!
Good to see the double quad cramps are catching on. Annie actually suffered from a quadruple quad cramp. That’s both arms and legs affected. And that even before she got in the water! Alex wasn’t around so I was happy to help out.
But the blog tart stunt of the day goes to Snorks crawling into a cannon in Edinburgh. Setting the bar pretty high for the rest of us tarts.
See you all tomorrow!

Oh DWSS, the hypocrisy!! You are our best customer. More than half of your 341k were paid ticks. And you could be at 342.5k had you paid your outstanding debts yesterday.

Thanks Anna for blogging yesterday to remind us that we can’t take any wild life out of Cabbage Tree Bay reserve. I’ll tell Steve at the Oz Mus. With a bit of luck we’ll find a dead Lion’s Mane jelly washed up on the beach!
