16/11/2014 the way we roll

16/11/201422

Bit of a grey sky met us this morning and the ole bluey’s were about today – thankfully I didn’t hear of anyone getting a nasty sting.

For a moment I thought the temperature hadn’t been taken?!?
But luckily normality resumed and 007 had once again assured the Bold & Beautiful crowd it was warm enough to go without.

Looking over to Shelly Beach, it definitely did look very grey.

But back at the B&B outdoor changing rooms there were smiles all round.

This guy came to swim today, and join in with the crowds as his girlfriend is overseas and he’s missing her.

LSA (seen here on the left) was up to her dodgy dealing with poor unsuspecting Derek in her sights today …..As you can see Derek is very reluctant to leave the safety of the changing rooms.

The lovely Jane adorned with men by her side.

Meanwhile, LSA had tempted Derek out of the changing rooms and into the open. What does she have in mind for him?

After Tuesday’s B&b dinner, Lips’ head has grown so big he struggles to put his pink cap on.
Rumour has it that Lesbubbles is knitting a bigger cap for him, hence her non appearance today.
Being concerned for Derek’s welfare, and wondering what exactly LSA had been saying to him to make him look so concerned, I caught this photo opportunity.
To the untrained eye it looks innocent, but if you look carefully, LSA has her vice like grip on him, trying to distract us with that winning smile.
You can also see in the photo above that Derek is desparetely trying to attract Lips’ attention. Poor Derek doesn’t understand that whilst a camera is around, Lips doesn’t see anyone only the camera lens.
Poor Derek.

A few waves to keep us awake.

…and a lovely crowd shot against that moody sky.

Sadly, being A grey Sunday the welcome committee (as sponsored by The Mgmt) had given up and gone for coffee.

But the crowds still smiled on.

Even if some of us were feeling the cold.

There’s always a surprise for swimmers at Shelly. Shocked onlookers always wonder who you’re going to take photo of next….

Two lovely gentleman, or……

…..A scoop snap of Dreamboat?

Or simply the underwater world?

No sooner had we returned to South Steyne, the heavens opened and we took shelter….

…..where we could. Huddled tightly to keep out of the rain. You wouldn’t want to get wet would you?

Happy Sunday!

great blog Snorkels. Wow…a crayfish !! Think Derek needs some TLC…he’s an absolutely elite athlete & champion & you know what happens when you hammer these sorts of guys…he may never come out of the surf club again…

Have you left enough time for questions and autographs professor prior to departure?

So good to see the Snorks blogging again!
You are one of the few who can see the finer points of corruption, scandal and Control that the HKTQ has over the management of the BandB.
That power of observation along with terrific underwater shots.
    Well done.
Not quite as good as yesterday’s blog though. 🙂

Still on the drugs, apparently LSA has some she will give me, but I’m going to stick to the ones prescribed by the dentist.

HKTQ / LSA is subtly charming you see, I notice it all ….

    16/11/2014 at 3:45 pm

I’ll keep an eye out for him. Poor Derek.

  • LSA aka HKTQ

    16/11/2014 at 4:29 pm

    He’s learning!
Just a little fine-tuning needed to allow for photo-shoots, cups of tea, panic attacks, picking off bluies, latest gos on the B&B real-estate take-over, searches for Shaun….

  • LSA aka HKTQ

    16/11/2014 at 4:37 pm

Oh Snorks, my pills are far more tasty than those ones from your dentist which have almost killed you…. and as for Shaun, I bet he’ll be along for another free ride tomorrow….:)

Derek is just suffering from a touch of Tedonitis….. he went for a bolderdash with Ted and had got so used to drifting along with Lips and I that it was a complete shock for him to actually have to swim. He hasn’t been the same since.
Now I have to use all that subtle charm to encourage the poor guy out of the locker-room for a dip and bluey protection.
