16/02/2022 – A Wonderful Wednesday

February 16, 20220

What a beautiful swim it was this morning! The water was warm, fishes everywhere and clarity great, though patchy. Going out there were a few gentle waves but calm across the bay and the sun was up! It should be like this for a few days so get in if you can!

JK says ‘Hello’ as he goes in with a large crowd for the 7am swim.

Big turn out for Booty Camp

I followed a Numbray around near the pool for a while…

Stingaree swimming

Just beautiful today seeing all the small schools of fish. Lots of Silver Sweep around the point

An Estuarine Cobblerfish aka Catfish near halfway

I also followed a little Duskie I saw on the way back near the point. Hope a few more appear soon. Has anyone seen more than one?

The living sea tiles are doing well. There’s a little fish living there already.

Some of the Drinks Express. Always a happy bunch and will always look after Baby Banjo while Michelle has a swim.

Just good mates…Sal and Niek. His lovely girlfriend ‘Shep’ will be along soon, with Tamara’s cute cavoodle 🙂

Have a great day folks. Keep swimming! I’m filling in for Lucy today and she’s doing my blog next Tuesday 🙂

Some of the Drinks Express post-swim. The Careflight talk at Bluewater is now postponed until 2nd Tuesday of April but the speakers in March sound good. Tickets will be available soon!
