163 Bold and Beautiful swimmers did the Shelly Shuffle this morning.
After last Monday’s amazing blog, Friday blogger AA tried to take me down a few pegs by stealing the camera. Guilt got the better of her and I got it back at Shelly after she was spotted…

Elaine initially said she would take some photos for me as I had no camera, but her camera then duly ran out of battery. To make up for it she offered to do a striptease….John was very confused.
Meanwhile John Kelly was doing his Winston Churchill impression, while explaining that if you cannot see the surf club while waiting at the point, YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR!!!!
p.s. We do like to wait for everyone at the point and will wait for everyone again at Shelly aswell, so please wait until JK does the “Lets go” at both stages. This way everyone feels included in the group! Thank you…service announcement over 🙂
At Shelly the world sandcastle championships were under way and camera crews were standing by for the action. (I have no clue what is actually going on here)

On the way back, JK had advised there was a very large rip and that we should maybe take the half way option if we were not strong, confident surf swimmers.
The rip indeed was very wide and a lot of people were SLOOOOW getting in. Corrine and a few others took the smart, half way option
For those who went through the surf, Manly’s finest were keeping a close eye on us just in case, both in and out of the water.

We all waited patiently for the last swimmer to get in (We are a caring bunch), worried about how slow he was going…would he have to be rescued? Phew…just managed to get in…..

Robster: great blog, as usual – loved the big blue groper. But I have a problem to report to whoever is doing the attendance records: I’m now addicted to the Pacific Challenge, and for the last two days my name has disappeared from the attendance record. My ticks have not be added! Woe!

Isn’t it great that swimming can help with life long issues.
In a deep and meaningful conversation yesterday between Lips, Dolphin Whisperer and Lainey,
we got to the bottom of Lips’s blog tarting behavior.
It dawned on us that Lips (or botox boy) has an issue with the family photos,
All his life, his parents took photo’s of his brother and not the Rainey we all know and love.
Photo albums full, page after page of despaire for our friend Lips.
Just another service our inclusive group is performing for one of our own.
GO forth Lips and get your photo taken.
I must stop writting, Im tearing up.

That rip was really weird and strong today. I spent ages swimming North and when almost at Bluewater it took me right back to the rocks! Fun though!
