… we saw six today, how about you?

Happy Valentines Day to the B&B crew! The day itself may be a little hallmark but love certainly isn’t, so here are 6 things to love today.

1. THE CONDITIONS 

A balmy 21.3 degrees in the trifecta of chalk, water and air. Bower sheltering us from the 20 knot southerly (but not the sea lice) with moderate visibility for 3-5m. Plenty of fish. 

2. THAT SUNRISE

3. JONNO’s 2000th KM 

Congrats! Serious distance here. Jonno and Duncan both thankful for B&B this v-day, and in return we are thankful for the slice of ginger cake.

4. GALENTINES DAY 

A day to celebrate your gal-pals. Hels and Tam get it.

5. OUR B&B RITUALS 

such as…

counting stingrays, identifying fish, swimming over your favourite rock;

coffee chats with new and familiar faces; the game of working out who’s who;

daily swim logs and that elusive swimmer of the day algorithm;

admiring today’s swim fashion; matching cozzies with your mates (i.e. the wow’s pictured below!);

wet hair and goggle marks as you walk into your day with clarity, calm; and for some of us – a little less hungover

6. DOGGOS

our dogs. your dogs. all dogs.

At the end of the day, all you need this valentines day is to spend time with someone who loves putting on a pink cap as much as you do. We feel so lucky.
