Exactly one year ago today we were recovering from the goodbye party for Jules and Michael so I thought a little nostalgia was in order.
We had a cracking evening yesterday at Jonny & Di’s beautiful home in Clontarf to say goodbye to Jules & Michael.
We had so much fun together
We were sure that you were ours
But leavin’ us, baby, is drivin’ us crazy
It’s got me wonderin’ all the time
Whoa-oh
Julie, Julie, Julie, do ya love me?
Ah, Julie, Julie, Julie, do ya care?
Julie, Julie, are ya thinkin’ of me?
Julie, Julie, will ya still be there?
Honey, you cried the day you left us
Even though we knew you couldn’t stay
But baby, remember, you’ll be back next December
So till then the B&B will blog you every day

42 Bold and Beautiful Swimmers.
11 Bolderdashers
The northeaster is still blowing but sun is out which made for a good swim in the harbour. The water was a lot cloudier this morning but we still saw lots of fish including a couple shovelnose rays and a big green turtle which glided underneath us about 30m from the beach.

B&B Attendance Login
Come on folks – this is the most efficient way to capture your swims. It’s a smart phone friendly website so no need to download, just mark it as a bookmark. There are so many good reasons to use the B&B Login – like no queues, no need for glasses to find your name, and never missing the 7am call. Log your swim between 5am and 9am for the easy way to ensure your swim is recorded in the daily attendance and on the Pacific Challenge. To get started, send an email to Ian Forster (ugoboyo@gmail.com). He will check that your email address is activated on the attendance register then send you info on how to get started. Happy clicking.
Summer badge swims
Every Saturday during summer there will be a 6km swim – usual route is to Freshwater and back; then once a month there is a 10km swim – this is to South Curl Curl and back. However, the final route depends on conditions that day so it is a good idea to arrive a little early to have a briefing from the designated swim leader. Both swims kick off at 7am. 2014

What a BLOG !
Was that an 8Kg baby that was announced ?
“Pete just phoned me, he and Sheri have just had a
beautiful baby boy !! 🙂 Raymond Thomas Bowes, over 8kg and 15cm long” I doubt mother is doing well !! But it would be a weight off her mind.

Interesting and unique blog Simon! Ted and I swam early today as had to pick up some Pommies from the airport, so flat, calm and beautiful…Missed the turtle though…Welcome back Ian and thank you to everyone who has been volunteering with the B&B lately especially with all the newbies we’ve been getting.

Congrats Pete and Sheri! Especially Sheri, at 8kgs and 15cm long it must have been about 35cm wide…???

How good is our BB ticking app?!!
I love that there’s no longer a 9am cut-off because sometimes when the blog comes out in the afternoon, I remember I didn’t tick (like today – eek).
But thankfully a disaster like this (!!) can now be avoided – I just open the app, tick my name, refresh the attendance page and VOILA!
Get on board, everyone!!
