Yes that’s right folks – there have been 12 previous Friday the 13ths
..so this is number 13!
The fear of Friday the 13th has been called friggatriskaidekaphobia
(Frigga being the name of the Norse goddess for whom “Friday” is named in English and triskaidekaphobia meaning fear of the number thirteen), or paraskevidekatriaphobia
The sunrise was not that scary – unless you are eosophobic!
— n. 1. The fear of the dawn. 2. The fear of sunrise.
A little scary….? Yes if you’re Booboophobic … (fear of Arabella)
There was a lot of pulling going on at Bootycamp….
Candy brought Sue along to feel the full terror of Friday 13th with us…
Look how scared Eliza is.. her second swim with us and she’s terrified..
For the ladies – there was a whale sighting just off the beach…
Here’s Leisa trying to catch up to them…
Something weird was going on at Shelley…
The tension was palpable….
Eric’s magic mushrooms were just kicking in…
The “friendlest fish in the ocean” was the only candidate for underwater action today.. the week of solid murk wasn’t helping at all…
We had some new swimmers straight off the plane from San Francisco – this’ll sort you out!
This week we have been visited by rock stars….
Ladies and Gentlemen… we give you… “Right! Said Fred”
Sarah’s boyfriend could possibly have a drinking problem….
Jack Johnson fan club…

Thankyou dear Anna and Thomas for rescuing my baby thermos flask from the Table of Knowledge. We were both ecstatic at being reunited.

What fun we all have……. most scary? A close call between the one of Annie & Bella at Booty Camp and the effect of those magic mushrooms on Eric:-))

Yes LSA but if you look closely at Bella and Annie’s arms they aren’t actually flexed, just posing for the camera!
They’ll both be punished come Monday!
And Nick D as usual you’re a funny little Broney, you are!

Lots of very happy photos this morning – thanks Nick! It was indeed a glorious start to the day. Extra special thanks to the JS booty camp … we have such fun with those games, takes me right back to childhood picnics!

The cute little “Friendliest fish in the ocean” is a Bengal Sergeant (for obvious reasons), the one Izzy calls a Convict Fish, for equally obvious reasons. Its scientific name is Abudefduf bengalensis, nearly the same as Lips’s school nickname of Abudefduf sexfasciatus.

Anna’s Tomas had broken his jaw falling off his bike. I’m sure we are all sending out good vibrations to help the healing process ! Give the lad a big hug when you see him.
