96 Bold and Beautiful Swimmers!
Another stunning start to the day!! But still COLD!!
When we arrived we saw that the 3 wise monkeys had made sure they covered every available space possible just to be absolutely sure none was left for anyone to put their bags or towels down…Although those pretruding boards look to be a bit of a safety hazard? 😉
Anyway we all carried on as usual because we are all happy to be here nothing bothers us! See Midge is clapping!
We put our stuff along the side ….which worked out good because the sun warmed our towels whilst we swam!
Getting in was another story!!! Cold waves smacking into us – at one point I heard a high pitched scream – behind me Bobby/Robert Hayter had a head on collison with a big cold wave! (no photo thought coz the same wave got me!!)
This is my fav shot of the day! But I cannot take credit – it’s the camera – I couldn’t see a thing when I took it!

Jules and Michael are away as Jules …AND Robin, Sheri, Peter and Sarah …are running THE FULL Melbourne Marathon! – GOOD LUCK TOMORROW GUYS…. and to any other BnB swimmers who are competing in it!!!
Also good luck to Wilf our “super hero 77 year old Iron Man” who leaves tomorrow for Auckland to compete in the the World Championships Triathlon next weekend!!

Hey my lovely swimmers, I don’t think this morning’s reservation of club front space was in any way intended as anything, the platform was needed for the bbq tables.

“3 Wise Monkeys” is an insult to intelligence and monkeys! Especially when they described themselves as “both of us”. Didn’t see the stupid leprechaun leader, he was probably pulling their strings the way they look! Mr Trouble was getting his kicks too”.

I have to agree with Anna, whether intended or not to stir doesn’t matter. How great was the morning sky and sun. Anyone else notice the sickle of the moon and Venus?? fade as the light came?

Little Sarah, still fighting my ‘man cold’ but determined to pop down tomorrow to test the miracle cure that is cold water swimming! (plus I get the feeling I’m losing you to that Neil guy if I skip any more mornings)

In reply to some of the comments – probably what I would change is the word monkeys – it implies rudeness which I definitely was not wanting to be – I meant it cheekily! But I wouldn’t change anything else because over the past 1.5 years I have been swimming with BnB.. the impression I get is they do not want us there each morning – I think if you asked any of them they would tell you that yes that is the case – although as to the reason why??.. I do not know?!! And just think if we weren’t there each morning I reckon they would miss us – especially the eye candy! ;-DD
