were getting that summer feeling this morning, things are definitely heating up !! 🙂

Seem’s John Cleese has got some competition… nice walk Brenton !?

The air is toastie, quite literally, the smell of toast permeates across the water as the non swimmers of our community (yes believe it or not there are still a couple out there) make their breakfast.

The water is warming up too…  check it out, nearly 18 degrees !!  No more excuses for all of our warm water swimmers out there.  Guess we can look forward to seeing you all tomorrow now then 🙂

We have a B&B team in the Manly Relay for Life this weekend.  15 of us are
participating in an 18 hour walk to raise funds and awareness for cancer

Thank you very much to the staff of Murray’s at Manly as around 40 of us had a fantastic time at our inaugural sponsored drinks and nibbles evening last night 🙂

Some (not mentioning any names, last photo above) kicked on well into the night too, but clearly perfectly capable of burning the candle at both ends as they were all at swimming this morning too.

Don’t miss next month’s fun at Murray’s, put it on your diaries now (2nd Wednesday of every month).  They’d really appreciate RSVPs though so they have an idea of how many of us to cater for.  So if you can come on Wed 10th Oct please RSVP HERE now, thank you.

A few important reminders of other upcoming activities too: 

• Ben’s last swim with us before he leaves to take on the English Channel solo is this coming Saturday, 15th September !  So
  please
  come down to create a farewell good luck ring for Ben to be surrounded
  by at the point as we wish him farewell and all the best of luck for a
  successful channel
  crossing.

• Please come down for a B&B
  swim this Sunday morning, regular time of 7am, to be part of a photo shoot for a
  Telegraph commercial 🙂

• Next monthly B&B special $20 Bluewater dinner is on Monday 24th September, bookings are essential so please book in here asap.
