This a commitment driven blog, dedicated to the company I enjoyed last night. I had little bit too much fun last night, celebrating the end of the school term Mexican and Margarita bonanza with some of the Cammeray crew – Annie, James, Jen and Kieren. The evening resulted in an Uber ride to the beach this morning, no goggles and a very foggy head. I never regret a swim but I can’t say that about the little too much FUN.
I was soon put right. Manly greeted me warmly with the most beautiful sunrise, a healing dip in the cooling waters cleared things up, somewhat, as did some empathy from John (me thinks he has had the odd Friday night with a little too much fun), some laughs at my expense and chat with friends (some with a similar ailment) made it all worth it. I caught a lift home with some late-breaking Cammeray swimmers…. David and Jackie who may have had a chuckle over my predicament.
The water was perfect, crisp and clear and the sunrise just kept on giving.
