Well what does that mean for us swimmers? Us worshippers of the sunrise and the sea…?
Ever heard of the Exercise Bank Account?
Well, its the deposits that we make every time that we exercise that build up the exercise bank account.
We can Swim, Walk, Run, do Yoga or Pilates, or booty camp or pump iron in the gym…it all adds up to our exercise bank account balance.
Most of us have already made a deposit in the account before work. Today it was Yoga, swim and walk for me. What about you? What does your exercise bank account look like?

How do you know when your exercise bank account is healthy? Why should I even worry?
Well, according to the Mayo Clinic, the benefits of taking care of deposits into your exercise bank account include:

2. Exercise combats health conditions and disease
3. Improves mood
4. Boots energy
5. Promotes better sleep
6. Puts the spark back into your SEX life

That list of deposits is similar to regular swimming in cold water (WITHOUT a wetsuit!)

I made a deposit this morning … got down early at 6.30, but there was already a small queue. So, some of us chatted as we shuffled down to the sandy, cold teller.
Does Exercise Bank have an ATM on beachfront? I’d like to apply for a withdrawal – (Tab 6)

Great blog Jenny. Yoga as well as a swim sounds fantastic. I wonder what is the best spectator spot for the Bondi to Watson’s Bay swim this weekend?
