Our new year’s resolutions often focus on the destination, the result we wish to attain. So focussed are we upon these gratifications, that little thought is left for the struggles involved in actually achieving such lofty goals. Perhaps this is the real reason that new year’s resolutions often fail.
How much responsibility do you accept for your liberty, what priviledge did you forego for equality, how much ego have you dissipated in the name of fraternity? You say you want a revolution. Well, add some resolve to your resolution.
Liberty, Equality, Fraternity… Bold and Beautiful.

A couple of congratulations.
Here is Sylvia who celebrated her 40th birthday with the 6am crew today.
Also happy birthday to Valerie, Veena’s long time pen pal, who is over here swimming with Lawrence, enjoying the conditions and spotting a few duskies with The Dolphin Whisperer.
Thanks to Shaun and Simon for helping with the photos.
Warm Regards,

Great blog Andrew. Love it.
Did anyone else notice the strong current pushing us back on the return swim. Took ages to get past the point.
Great conditions forecast for tomorrow. Jo and I will start 5:50 for a relaxed bolder-shelly. Everyone welcome to join!

Is it cheating if I use fins and snorkel for the Bolder, Lips? It’s the only way I could do it (and keep up)

Rainer can you please wear your German national yoga in honour of the final sabby swim? Or lederhosen will do.

No prob Roger. You can wear fairy wings if you like. The 5:50 B’elly is colorful procession of freethinkers. No dress code.

dress code socks and sandals. Or socks and fins.
