Sometimes things happen beyond your control which means you can’t get to the beach to take photos for the blog! But with great team work and collaboration from swimmers across the group, before you know it, you have enough info/ pics to write a book!
Starting with a few stats from Mr Roger Harvey:
Wednesday conditions:
Flat water
Nil Blueys (though Di did say an early swimmer got stung – so there was at least one lone bluey)
18.9 deg water temp.
Nil Wind
Medium vis
The following photos come from the WOWs! There are photos in here that make you go WOW! Trust me!
Thanks Lainey and Anne!
It was the lovely Alison’s birthday very recently! Celebrating in style! Happy Birthday Alison! Fabulous photo! 💕
I know this photo is not of the swim but bear with me. Why do you think this piece of wood is wedged up against the door? The stained glass window (& the first sentence) gives you a clue! Give up? Its a ‘bear barrier’ to stop the bears entering the house of our very own Kerry Hughes who recently returned home to US & now living in Lake Tahoe! I think we can cope with a few blue bottles don’t you?!?! 😳😳😳
The snow has come early at Lake Tahoe and Kerry has already busted the snow shovel! An American snow shovel is clearly no match for strong B&B swimmer!
Her boys enjoying the snow!
And lastly, a picturesque scene!
Happy hump day! Its all down hill from here.
Have a great rest of week.
