10/9/13 – Duskies are Back!

10/09/201316

Is there something wrong with the Weather app on my phone?

Does it really  say 30c? (Blink a couple of times) Yep…. 30c!

Another NE wind is blowing us over this morning – It’s a little choppy but all our friends  are here …

Jane has switched to summer uniform…

Lyndall and Charlie are ready to go…

We have the World’s trimmest sumo…

The water really does feel like a bath..

Some of the early crew coming back in….

You can see what the underwater beasts have to swim through – stuff flying everywhere…

Shelley had a lot of crap floating everywhere including dead catfish…

A lone puffy who wasn’t as shy as usual….

Lesley handing a familiar item…. some sort of rubber skin shed  from a larger animal perhaps?

PJ: Nothing to report here SAH!

Sergeant Baker: Carry on then, private…

On the way back – there it was –  The first dusky of the season!

Toni got this lovely Bull Ray –

named because people didn’t really believe her until she showed them the pic…

HKTQ is watching….

She is the Queen….

Here she is directing the Police, Army, Naval and Secret Service Chiefs of Staff…

Have a great Tuesday everyone ..

ND (filling in for Renae who is just showing off in Hawaii:)

Do you think the Dusky has beaten the First Blowfly? or the first mention of “The State is a tinderbox”…..

Great blog Elaine! Love the ‘Bull’ Ray. 🙂
And how great to have a guest appearance by LSA and Henchy Jon!
I’m still on sick leave and hope to return by Thursday latest. On my return, I’ll provide a doctor’s note as per B&B regulation #45a.

Oh Jane, I can sense sarcasm in your comment!
You go ahead and make fun of my man flu. I’ll have my revenge next time you crack your fingernail and run around with a bandage for days as you did last week!
