10/04/2012 – Autumn Nip

10/04/20125

Over 87 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.

There sure was a nip in the air this morning, the ocean was like a welcome blanket.

Lake Manly strikes again !!  The conditions were divine, so calm and clear 🙂

One of Mark Allan’s twin daughters, Laura, aged 6 joined us for the first time this morning.  Well done Laura you’re a star choosing such a chilly morning to start !!

Jasmine’s turn next time 🙂

~5 swimmers set off early for a lovely calm swim up to Queensie, 3 swimmers lapped up the opportunity of a bonus early lap into Shelly at 6.30 and 4 continued on afterwards for a double.

We’re posted everywhere today !!  We feature in both Sprout Daily here and Saltmotion here  They’re pretty cool, well worth checking out 🙂

I had a beautiful little hot water bottle to keep me warm at brekkie this morning, Jane’s gorgeous 4 week old granddaughter, Molly came down for more cuddle time 🙂

Derek Martin only has a couple more swims left with us as he is heading back to NZ on Thursday 🙁  please come down and have a last swim with Derek to wish him farewell before he departs.

If anyone finds a pair of light blue goggles with a knot in one side of the band, they are mine – I misplaced them this morning! If you find them I would love to get them back…Paige
