Yes, the 7th best blog of the week is having an upgrade, with a new Monday blogger taking over the reins next week. I have to admit, it will be a nice change to start next week without the avalanche of hate mail after my blog gets posted to Facebook.
Having said that, I’m sure Rainer will also be relieved that he no longer has to send those mails on behalf of the B&B community every Monday. (Personally I think its more about his man crush myself)
For those of you who havent seen it before, here is a video of some of the photos since I took over the Monday blog 14 months ago.
This morning, there was surf action in both directions.
So Lesley, as usual, limbered up with some pelvic thrusts
John and Nick tried to hold hands without anyone else noticing. You should ALWAYS have a swim buddy.
Marije, fresh off her World Record 6km breast-stroke on the weekend, was posing for photos with her adoring fans. You can see how happy Emer is to get her photo taken with a B&B Legend!
I thought I was hard core coming from Five Dock, but our country friend came from Wagga!
Our walk into the surf
124 B&Bers came down today, including 3 newbies to make sure I handed in my blogging badge. It was a lovely 20.3C today.
Elaine was jumping for joy that I was finally getting kicked out of the inner circle
Neptune looks confused.
Former Friday blogger Anna tried to make a dramatic entrance for my final blog this morning. Unfortunately her parachute failed to open.
My final rescue of the season. You are welcome Simon, regardless of whether you wanted to be rescued or not.
At Shelly, I was officially washed of my blogging duties
One final Lets go…
One final shot of the surf…..
..and Jules in her bra
Keep swimming and smiling,
Robster the Blogster (And Mrs.Blogster)

Such a fast blog! I always enjoy reading your blog. Will miss your blogs but looking forward to read your guest blogs. You were so sneaky taking all those pics at Shelley, I had no idea haha. It seemed such a quick swim after the epic 6km breast stroke swim last Saturday.

You’ll always be my No 1 pin-up boy, Robster:-)) Have loved every blog and just had fun watching your video of best ever B&B pics for the hundredth time!!
Sooo sorry to miss the farewell speeches and blog-tarting at Shelly… Ros and I did make it to Shelly but just missed the cut-off…. Surely one will be able to text soon from bolderdashes to ask for celebrations (er… commiserations, I mean) to be delayed….
See you for some Sat Special VIP STAR Guest-blogging!

Well done Robbie as you retire from blogging to concentrate on staying up all night on Sundays to cheer on West Ham (a task that’s becoming more thankless than dealing with Lips’ hatemail)

Considering the Lips-v-Robster clashes, Lips nevertheless managed to intrude into an extraordinary number of pics in the 14 month review! Well done, both of you!
Robster, your Monday Madness Monologue will be greatly missed. Thanks for the good laughs so far!

Ros, you have such a wonderful turn of phrase. Sure you wouldn’t like a regular blog spot? I’m sure I could arrange it.

Agree Bubbles
Robbie, a great and very inclusive and eclectic compilation.
More of Rainer than one would hope for and too few of Emer but still great!
Thanks so much for your selflessness in provision of your time blogging.
And Ros, you’d be a star should you ever decide to take up blogging!

Robbie, all the best with the commuting to work on a Monday. Goodness that will be such a change from keeping the B&B Blog readers entertained as you swan about Bluewater. . .
While I’ll be missing your regular assault on Mondayitis, really looking forward to your special appearances 😀

Well done Robster.
Also well done in continuing the drag out final, 3 weeks now, done well!
I remember your first blog – taken control of the asylum! Or there abouts.
Are the guards back in control? And are you back in a straight jacket?
Thank you for your time. (Serious)
Just because you stop blogging does not result in any less hate mail. (Serious)
Enjoy your time off phantom.

Thanks for the compliment Robster, that mine is the 2nd worse blog after yours! We loved your ‘Monday Madness Monologues’. Hope you and Emer do make it over every Saturday and you guest blog every so often. Good luck in the new job x

Thanks for the final rescue Robbie. You are correct, taking time out to savour the view is one of the pleasures of the swim.
I have enjoyed your blogs from the very beginning. So make sure you enjoy your new role.
