09/10/2012 – Could of Been a Whale Swim !

09/10/201231

51 Bold & Beautiful swimmers

It was just like whale day today: grey skies, drizzling rain, relatively low number of swimmers.  The only thing missing was the whale 🙁

We had beautiful water

loads of love

New camera created jewellery… I didn’t know you had ball bearings in your ear Dave 😉

New fashions… Dr John didn’t want to leave the risk of forehead fat to chance.

Alan obviously didn’t think much of the new look though 😉

There’s no stop to the limits or the creativeness of our beautiful blog tarts… the human pyramid wasn’t an empty threat !

If fact it was brilliant, it certainly had excellent spectator value.  Rainer and Robbie have obviously been in serious breath hold training and Little Sarah’s balance was exceptional – cirque du soleil here we come 🙂

We had a few one way warriors

and some lovely marine life too:

A Three Barred Porcupine Fish

Our ever prolific and graceful Stingarees

and our permanent point dwelling Estuarine Catfish found by Attracta this morning.

It’s recently had an official name changed to Cobblerfish, yeh right.  Once a catfish always a catfish !

Our early-bird swimmers left us a proud little message this morning to say there were 6 of them, all without wetsuits !  Only 2 doublers this morning though; one with, Chris and one without, Michael.

My Mother’s winter whale watching holiday has come to an end as she flies back to good ole blighty this afternoon.  Thank you all so very much for making her feel so welcome and special, she’s really had the most wonderful time !  Elaine and Lesley captured her holiday perfectly in their leaving gift which they presented to Joan at brekkie this morning… 🙂

A call for a team swimmer in the Noosa Tri… a couple of our blog tarts Sharon and Corinne were going to form a team in the Noosa triathlon on Sunday 4th November.  Corinne on the bike, and Sharon the run and swim.  Unfortunately Sharon is under doctors orders not to participate due to bulging discs in her neck – ouch 🙁  They have found a runner but are still looking for a swimmer to do the 1.5km swim…  Any takers to be part of this B&B Blog Tart Elite Triathlon Team ???  Check out full details on the event here

Don’t forget… if you receive the daily blog directly to your inbox, open the email, click on the date or title of the day’s blog in the main body of the email and it will take you to the actual blog where you can read other people’s comments for the day and maybe even make your own.  Come on, don’t be shy, you know you want to… well we want you to 😉

Happy birthday to Alyson Mayer today !

Oh… and we’re gonna have a WWW brekkie on Sunday morning as we ‘Wish Wilf Well’ as he heads off to Auckland on Monday to participate on the most senior category at the Triathlon World Championships the following weekend 🙂

I think I managed 7 points on the spreddy today, sorry folks, and that was without getting in on the Human Pyramid. Well done Little Sarah, that yoga can come in useful!!
Beautiful porcupine fish Jules. Where was he? Another fantastic swim. Never be deceived by grey skies, it’s always worth it!
