120 of my closest and dearest Bold & Beautiful friends swam this morning to help me celebrate my birthday!
But more importantly, MUCH more importantly, we had a special visitor at the the surf club this morning. Claire from Bear Cottage, a local hospice for children and their families came down to present us with a beautiful gift to say thank you to the B&B for raising $3,615 during the Winter without Wetsuit challenge. We took a quick snap before the swim with some of the charity team.
Thank you to the team and especially to all those generous people who donated their hard earned $$ to this amazing cause.
If you want to check out Bear Cottage, you can do so HERE.

But back to me…. 😉
Lesley gave me a photo bomb for my birthday
James regaled me of stories of Hammerhead sharks for my birthday.
Dr John gave me a cheeky grin as a gift. Or maybe he is just constipated.
Ah no, we are good pals really!
(Still waiting on my birthday card mate)
Some people forgot to give me a gift. Hence they hid from the camera and held their head in their hands.
Drinky offered me some birthday man-cuddles
Some birthday smiles from the ladies
Elaine gave me the birthday thumbs up
Patrick, Bruce and co. gave me some birthday love at the point
Becky was feeling a little chilly waiting at Shelley! It was 19.2C!
Then “The White one” got a lovely rendition of Happy Birthday from the Shelly gang
and John let me do the LETS GO! Lookin good JK!
Anna heard I was telling people it was my 21st…
(Not sure why Lesley is stroking the roller door in the background)
Right, birthday boy signing off with a selfie….
Keep swimming and smiling,

I sent Mark at the OzMus the pic of the finless PJ from Lips’s hilarious Sat. blog and this is his comment:
“Oh no! That is one ‘love weary’ female.
I’ve never seen anything like it. I assume they are ‘love bites’ and not wounds inflicted by sticking her pectoral fins too close to a hidden wobbegong. Either way, ouch!”

Thx Alyson. The painting was from a sibling of one if the regular children who visits Bear Cottage. His illness is due to a near drowning so they thought it apt that this particular gift was for the B and B
