Another one of those mornings where the photos can hardly do justice. The blog camera sensed this and decided it wasn’t going to work…
There was the usual bustle before seven, a walk out though undulating shallows then a dive through effete, waist-high rolling breakers. It was warm, with bright, almost harsh, sunlight glinting off mostly glassy waters as we rounded the point.
The water was fairly clear and, with the bright light, would have been great for photos. There was a good turnout, but why wouldn’t there be, it was another awesome Autumn swim.
If you were there you’ll know what the others missed. Anyhow, here are a few photos from earlier, showing the evolution of our much loved B&B…
The Bold and the Barely Suitable Swimwear (bloggers were well versed at painting the point)
From early last century, the meeting place for The Bold and the Bubonic
The Bold and the Boater Hats
The Bold and the Barbed
The Bold and the Baby Boomers
The Bold and the Basket Weavers (…that cold wait at Shelly hasn’t changed a bit)
An earlier, though equally iconic, Monday blogger… Allegedly
With love,
Andrew Maher.

Btw bloggers…
Have a back-up camera in case the red Olympus gives you a card error. Card slot spring doesn’t eject card properly, so error may be due to that???
