6.40am: Freddie drives in from Whale Beach…
6.30am Shane Gould signs in! …and if you don’t know who she is…(as if!)..

6.50am – our 9000th swimmer, Sophie, is welcomed! Unfortunately Sophie’s first contact with BnB is Shaun, luckily it can only get better from here! Congrats Sophie!
6.55am… LOTS of people have arrived and ready to get going…
6.56am Jane spots my camera…
6.56.04 am… she makes direct-blog tart contact
6.59am.. Shaun, who takes his new duties as filler-in-helper-outerer VERY seriously, gives the 6.59 warning talk…
7.00am…the trail down to the water starts..
7.01 am … my camera does “Misty”
…or “Vivid” – either way it’s still a beaut sight to see!
7.05am – I make my way around to half way to keep on eye on things…
7.10am…These Water Maidens also chose half way…
…and Roz etc
..and so it seems Shaun! mmm he SAID it was to keep an eye on the things!?!
7.15am….The swim over was pretty uneventful for me…but at Shelly… it was all happening..
These guys call themselves The Easy Riders..but I reckon it’s a cover up for a future A+ team..better than the original A-Team
Speaking of A-Team…. every day we have to photoshop the heck out of the photos we take of them and I for one and sick of it… So here’s what Tim really looks like..

7.35am.. I spot Errol Abbott walking back from half way…
…and here’s something I found on the internet from a few years back ….Errol in a Brylcreem ad! The story was about he and fellow rugby players who also did a bit of modelling… apparently it was very uncool back then but if he did it today he would be a bit of a legend! Errol also played for the Waratahs!
7.38am..Jill coming through the the BnB legend arch with her grand daughter Tully! YAY!
7.40am ..and last but not least – Storchy, boot-camp master, with his Christmas present t-shirt..designed by Jo – Lips’ wife 😉
