61 Bold & Beautiful swimmers
are well adjusted to daylight savings and were rewarded with a beautiful morning and a great swim.

I love this photo, all the different looks at the oncoming waves; some attentive, some awfully concerned, whilst others are just plain carefree or is it oblivious ? 😉

There were fun little waves

causing a big splash

and lots of laughs

The sun is just gorgeous, beaming down on us for the whole swim, with not a touch of shade – beautiful !

Who’s who in this morning’s B&B zoo ??
I especially love this first photo, all the colours and the water droplets, I don’t know why, it just simply ‘does it’ for me 😉 I reckon it could even be a calendar photo for our 2013 calendar, what d’ya think ??

The fight is really on now between our lovely blog tarts… !

Happy holidays to Sue McGregor, see you at our B&B Trivia night

“Fluffy” the small green sea turtle was found by Fifi’s daughter,
Isabella yesterday at South Curl Curl. Fluffy was exhausted but landed
in safe hands as Isabella nursed her, keeping her cool and wet until
help came from Manly Aquarium. Apparently Fluffy had barnacles, sea grass and
parasites on her, but with a bit of TLC she is going to be fine. The plan is to clean her up, give her a couple of days
to regain her strength and then release her back to the bay 🙂 Great work
Isabella and thank you very much for the absolutely wonderful photos !

A question and a photo from Friday 5th Oct from Stephen…

Lauren, our new swimmer fresh in from the USA is looking for a room to rent, her only requirement is that it’s walking distance to B&B 🙂 If anyone knows of anything suitable please let us know asap, thank you.
Happy birthday to Julie Cameron-Doe today !
An on tour photo from Den of the relay team after their team English Channel crossing which they completed in 12h 51m. Den said it was hard, rough and tough.

Chris, those budgie smugglers are looking way too flesh coloured. You need to either work on your tan or get a new pair!
…and yes Jules, that photo is definitely one for teh calendar

That organism looks like a mature Salp. Some sort of planktonic creature anyway.

Thanks Sharon. Where were you??
Jules has a soft spot for us blog tarts at the moment. Strongly recommend we grab as many points as possible before we run out of poses..
Rob – I’m working on a human pyramid for tomorrow morning. Should get us extra points. Let me know if you’re game.
See you all tomorrow!

Just as long as there’s a photo with the blog tarts in one of the calendar photos 😉 Stephen was suggesting the other night that we have a ‘Calendar Girls’ type photo for one of the months. Let’s see how far the blog tarts will go!
Must make tomorrow. Joan’s last breakfast and Alyson is back. (Will miss you Joan and we have a surprise for you!)

That photo came out better than I thought! Clearly Rainer is standing in deeper water than me as I almost look as tall!
I am SO in for the Human Pyramid tomorrow morning!
