167 swimmers didn’t wait up for the result last night as they had an important date with the water this morning! Grey skies met us, but nine new people still joined us.
Imagine my surprise as I was walking along the Corso this morning and I bumped into this?!! Geez Tone….I know the memo said we wear pink, but?! Wow! You’ve gone all out with that one!
Ah! That’s better! Tone in a pink cap, seen here running out of the surf after joining the Drinky Express at 630.
Now, where is his mate? Ah, here he is! K Rudd, was found in his new role cooking our breakfast at Bluewater this morning. Spotted laughing, because he can’t quite believe that BnB swimmers get a discounted breakfast for only $10!
Ness remaining true blue demonstrating who she voted for yesterday!

Sue McGregor feeding rusty horses on the The Pilgrims Trail in Spain (El Camino Way).
She’s walking it all by herself…good to see she took along her pink cap! 🙂

Great video I found on the OzMus site of a California Horn Shark, same family as our PJ (Heterodontidae). Watch to the end, and remember when you are stroking them that our sweet PJs have the same 2 spines!

And while we are on the subject, here is a video that our very own Jules took last winter at Manly Point.

Great work Snorkles and a fun blog! That was clever spotting the baby cuttlefish, how exciting, more cuttlefish! Some great wave jumping shots too!

Great, Snorkles. I wouldn’t have seen that, let alone recognised it as a baby Cuttlefish! As far as I know none of us have spotted those in CTB before.

Great post election coverage Snorkles!
Love the in depth analysis of different techniques for confronting knee high waves. The suck it all in and elbows high approach can save lives!
And is that John Howard in the sixth photo? He’s been working out!
Happy Birthday Peta & Deb!

Oh my goodness Snorks
Your back and on fire!
Captured Kev at Bluewater, New Pm drifting in from a big night out, Johny Howard AND
A new blog tart baby cuttlefish which has not been photographed before.
Wow, wow, wow.
There are only a few rare photos left,
1/ Inhabitants of the space between Brad and Lucy
2/ Julie with a blue swimming cap.
3/ THE most sought after photo – the sneaky 1/2 way Lippy mid week exit! (Worth big bucks – the famous swimming crime magazine – “Ocean Underworld” – would like a photo for their article titled-
Cosmetic surgery on the run.)
