It’s true….whilst my Sunday blog partner is enjoying the long weekend in Melbourne, I enlisted a person who couldn’t wait to help me out this week ‘What have I done???’
So today, as the sunrise greets us …we’d like to throw a few ‘Thank you’s’ out there to those unsung heroes. Let’s start with ‘The Committee of the Highest Order’ Member Number One …….keeping an eye on the time for us “Ay bye gum, its 7am letys gerrr in the wata”
Day in, day out Ian works in front and behind the scenes with all the admin that goes into capturing attendance records every day.
At this point we would (for the first time) also take a moment to thank Ian’s offshore team in Bangalore. Those brave souls, invisible to most of us, but so essential to the record keeping of B&B.
Special mention to the two managers of the B&B call centre over there. Deepak’s team stepped up over the summer months to cope with the additional workload from Bolderdash, 6k, and 10k ticks. Amazing work guys!!! Of course they are now focussing their bandwidth on our Winter badges..all those people to record!!! All 200 of us turned up today for a great swim.

Fantastic blog Snorkles and Lips! Great idea, a thank you blog. Great photos (except the clacker shot!) I’m afraid Snorks I have seen 3 cuttlefish together and captured 3 in one photo before but love your photo! Their eyes are so big!

Yup, big thankyous for the fun. I was admiring the sunrise with another swimmer this morning, and he had a camera out. I would love to see his picture (not just because he put me in it!) I keep telling my family to come to see the sunrise on the water. This would be great evidence. ross.summerfield@gmail.com

Congratulations Drinky for your 500km swim!!
I am honoured to share such a momentous occasion with you.
I had organised a (straight) swimmers tunnel for your arrival back at Manly but you swim so fast, Brad was the only one there!!, I did see him raise an arm from where I was. (It could have been a stretch but I’m taking credit for a tunnel)
