SUPER flat! And despite the clouds showing here it did clear up and the sun shone through! Really? is it always so perfect! YES! 🙂
Very inviting – couldn’t wait to get in! AND Toni J did a DOUBLE!!!
Lining up to sign in….
Sir Winston is miffed! Apparently he insists on coming past us each morning on his walk because, I reckon, he just loves the adoration and attention! But this morning noone was doing much of either to him! Winston also has a Facebook page!! It’s very cute! https://www.facebook.com/winstonthewatchdog 🙂
Annie’s first swim since she got back from O/Seas – she looks very worried! (he he sorry Annie it was such a bad I mean good pic of you I had to put it up) Anyway not sure how she did as I didn’t see her afterwards??
A hint of sun!
If you look carefully our trail of swimmers goes all the way out to the point!
Looks deceiving…so welcoming but sooo cold!! 16.9 today
Oops …good shot but not a BnB cap!!
Underneath it was clear as glass…and below the surface it was actually a bit warmer too
Jenny K’s sister Catriona did the lets go in a little voice 🙂
Here comes the sun!
Back at the point – super clear and my camera doesn’t do it justice!
Ted and I collected some rubbish…me the gusset of a cossie and a sock! And Ted, a kids toy and a plastic fork, I wonder where Ted stuffed those 2!! 😀
Thanks to Bluewater for last nights monthly dinner! Another success 45 turned up and 4 collected their 500km badges! Here is Lauren one of the Chefs with a pink cap on! 🙂
How cool is this below – BnB swimmer James Goins, who works on the Manly Ferry’s, saw this ‘little fella’ yesterday at Commuter time!
James said “this can actually happen anytime between May and September. On the ferrries, we are meant to keep well clear of the whales if we can. This one popped up out of the water, right alongside a peak hour service loaded with delighted commuters. It remained on its side and ‘waved’ at passing ferries for nearly an hour before leaving the harbour soon thereafter. About two hours later, a pod of four Southern Rights came into the harbour”
The whales were out in the harbour again this morning – Did anyone see them?? Maybe they will pop around and join us sometime this week!!??

Oh my god…Winston…hilarious. The fat boy loves seeing all the B&B swimmers most days! It’s the only incentive that gets him out of bed and down those stairs 🙂

Ted’s day to swim, so envious reading your (great) blog Lesbubbs that I didn’t/couldn’t swim…And I missed Annie again 🙁 Toni J did well doing a double with only a stinger suit on. Hope the whales come around to CTB tomorrow for my blog day!!!It’s FIfi’s birthday so maybe they will come especially for her. DWSS can you do your best whale whispering?

No waves meant it was easy to swim over the rocks at the point this morning – without the risk of becoming a crash-dummy. And what a treat: Water at the point was stunningly clear: saw some lovely big gropers and other fishies. Thanks for featuring Winston, Lesbubbles. He is such a gorgeous pudding-y little bloke.

I saw a red ‘P’ plate floating in the water at the point yesterday – but I couldn’t collect it because I can’t dive in my wetsuit (it’s too buoyant!). But I did wonder how it got there? A big thank you to Ted and Lesbubbles for your collection of random rubbish.

Lesbubbles and I always collect rubbish. (plastic bags
Plastic teacups) etc . Stuff it down your swimmers and put it in the bin. Make me feel better if I’ve saved the life of the beautiful marine creatures.
Love the blogl Lesbutt

Hi Lainey,
Thank you for the request but whale whispering is a totally different dialect.
I can speak some Pidgon whale but I do not like to embarrass myself, also they are big and sensitive.
Apparently the Bondi surfer just groaned and it was mistaken that he said something about Mr whale putting on weight and look what happened to him. KO ed.
Ill study up a bit and have a chat to my dolphin mates to see what they think.
Btw, a dolphin pod swam past Dee Why this morning.
It’s the time of year!!!
