As ever, there is someone willing to lend a hand. Wetsuit season is the time of the year that really brings out the generosity and inclusiveness of this group.
Happy smiles all around as the 7am call goes up and we head out to sea.
It was all going so well. . . This swimmer with Rhonda has ditched the surfers at Queenscliff for a swim with the B&B. She stated that we are amazing! And as a professional journalist she said she is blown away by the quality of our blogs. Well some of them. . .

It all looked so normal at Shelly. And then it happened. Can you believe it!! Two intelligent, well educated ‘gentlemen’ indulging in biffo in the middle of an incredulous crowd of onlookers.
Was it the presence of so many cameras? Trivia night nerves? Whatever was behind the raised fists, it is truly sad to see a long term friendship come to this.
Just goes to show that Manly/Shelly can match Bondi any day don’t you think? Thankfully there was a plethora of marine life to distract us.
Cuttlefish and the biggest and bluest groper I have ever seen were out an about today.

An absolutely beautiful blog Mary capturing an incredible swim…The clarity of the water and abundance of fish was amazing and so exciting seeing a giant cuttlefish again! I LOVE the Lips/Stephen ‘fight’!! Gorgeous photos of the B&B characters above water too. (Lovely one of you Lesbubbles!)

Fab fish in abundance this morning … but I swam with the 6.15 mob and missed the highlight: the Sluggo! Mary, I’m so glad you were there to capture the action! Can anyone tell me what was the “issue” (or woman) that caused this duel?
